Steven Willekens
Steven Willekens is Managing Partner of Bright Management Consulting.
He was previously Head of Advisory Services at Spencer Stuart in Asia. Before that he was Director of MNC business for Hay Group Greater China. He started his career in the EU lecturing in the areas of Organization Science and Strategy at Maastricht University and afterwards working at a Strategy Boutique Firm Magnitude Consulting in the Netherlands.
He authored two publications in Harvard Business Review, is a UC Berkeley accredited Executive Coach, a KDVI (INSEAD) accredited Executive Team & Board Coach and holds an MSc in International Economics from Maastricht University.
Jenny Chen
Jenny Chen is Managing Partner Greater China of Bright Management Consulting. She is an Organization and Leadership Consultant and Executive Coach.
Jenny is an HR Leader with 20 years experience working in MNCs (Yum, Unilever, Baxter, Ferrero) in China and Europe.
She graduated in System Engineering from Southeast University, has a certification in psychology counselling and has Postgraduates in Exec Coaching from Chester University and Executive Team / Board Coaching at KDVI (INSEAD).
Michel Brekelmans
Michel Brekelmans is a selected partner for Bright Management Consulting.
Michel set up SCP/Asia in 2016, before that he was Senior Partner at L.E.K. Consulting, a global strategy consultancy firm.
Michel holds an MSc in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam and he completed the International Management Program at Stern School of Business (New York University).
Lauren Kester
Lauren is a selected partner for Bright Management Consulting.
Lauren brings additional strength and scale to our core offerings in the areas of Leadership Development & Assessment, Team Diagnostics & Improvement and Organizational Design & Effectiveness. She works with leading MNCs across APAC and Globally as an Executive Coach and Management Consultant. It is her passion to decipher executive team dynamics that cause dysfunction, to then help navigate alternative paths towards improved performance. Her work has been referred to in the Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Australian Financial Review and Channel News Asia.
Previously Lauren held senior leadership and partnership positions at Korn Ferry Hay Group, Deloitte and EY. She now operates “Chasing the Sun”, a collective of bold thinkers and global experts.
Jeroen Vaassen
Jeroen is a selected partner for Bright Management Consulting.
Jeroen will support our clients in bringing strategy to action, with a special focus on strategy execution, business growth, operational leadership and technology. He balances a business-focused, fact-based and structured approach with being people and stakeholder centric.
Jeroen is the founder and CEO of Yerun, applying a service-driven mindset to inspire innovative thinking. His roots are in the hospitality industry, where he held various regional and corporate leadership roles. At Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Jeroen worked as the Head of Revenue Management, Asia Pacific, responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategies of 330+ hotels and resorts in 26 countries.
As a born global individual with over 25 years of living and working in Asia Pacific (including China), the Middle East, Europe and South America, Jeroen is passionate about operating in multicultural environments and emerging markets.

Andy Cooper
Andy is a selected partner for Bright Management Consulting.
Frequently we’re being asked to also conduct deep dives in the commercial heart of organizations, to help elevate marketing & sales effectiveness. To provide best in class support in this area, Bright is partnering with Andy Cooper, the Founding Partner of ComEx Partners.
Andy served as Commercial Executive on the Boards of multiple Global MNCs, leading the commercial (Marketing & Sales) agenda to deliver profitable growth. He has extensive experience in B2C and B2B industries and, as a UK citizen, has lived and worked across APAC over 20 years.
In 2021 Andy transitioned into consulting and founded ComEx Partners. He specialises in the creation and implementation of commercial excellence strategies to achieve breakthrough performance for MNCs and PE/VC backed portfolio companies.
Qingwen Fang
Qingwen is the research and data analyst for Bright Management Consulting.
She supports management consulting projects for our Customers worldwide, conducting industry research, managing diagnostics, data analysis and statistics and reports development.
She has a professional psychology background at East China Normal University.
